i was born in east java (indonesia) of chinese origin and lived in cologne (germany) for 3 years before arriving in london.

i moved to yunquera (malaga) in january 2005 from london, a home for over 30 years. i had some idea of what i was going to do..

travelling is my greatest passion and i consider myself lucky to been able to go from tromso to tahiti and from quebec to cape town. however i have always been painting for as long as i can remember.

just like paintimgs, it is difficult to choose a favorite place as it is a painting. i would go all the way to broken hill (new south wales) even for one day just to visit the galleries again.

there are places you have visited before and yet you may want to return to see things you missed when you were first there.

i find equally so with paintings: sometimes you need to look at them again and again as you feel diiferent each time you look at them.

my paintings..well, certain things stick and i want to look again and again. it can be a brush stroke, a colour, the whole thing: there is always something...thats why i paint and i guess why i need to travel..
